Free Colic Survival Kit Scam?

Today we noticed a google ad linking to some site offering a free colic survival kit.  It included one of our Vacuum CDs, a Happiest Baby on the Block book and a bottle of Colic-Ease gripe water (not the same kit we sell but close).  We’ve seen these types of ads before where they offer a free iPod or free laptop in exchange for filling out a ridiculously long survey and then make you jump through another ton of hoops.  We never managed to get anything free.  Anyway, don’t be fooled by these types of survey, information collecting scams - there usually isn’t any real reward waiting.  If you want the colic survival kit you can buy it from The Colic Shop.

Parents as Teachers

Parents as Teachers is a national organization who’s mission is to provide the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. They operate in every state and I’ve been told they send people out to help new parents with parenting questions and issues such as colic.

Finally A Proper Blog

I’ve been wanting to start a proper blog for the site for a while now. This is it. I am planning on posting colic news and articles and site updates to this blog. I will remove the static blog page from the colic shop site and this will take it’s place after I have imported all of the old blog posts.

This is our first post to the Shopkeeper’s blog. We are doing some very exciting things here at The Colic Shop and we will use this blog as a way to tell our customers about our work. Also, we run the free colic support forum at www.ColicSupport.com as a place for desperate parents to connect with other parents who know what it is like to have a colicky baby.
