What Is Gripe Water For Colic?

Gripe water is an herbal supplement given to colicky babies that comes in a variety of brands. It usually contains herbs such as catnip, dill and fennel. Bottles of gripe water vary in size from 2 to 12 ounces and can be given to baby via a dropper or special numimed type dispenser. Gripe water has been around since the 1920s and has been used all over the world to treat colicky babies.
