We know how stressful it can be to have a colicky baby. Whether you are stuck home with a crying baby all day long or coming home from a long day’s work, having a baby that cries all the time is very stressful!
Here are three tips to get through it:
- Stay calm – I know this is easier said than done. Crying alone will not hurt your baby. If you feel like you are loosing your cool, call someone, or put baby down in a safe place like their crib and leave the room for a minute to calm down. Never hurt your baby
- Take a break or take turns. If there is someone helping you, ask them to watch the baby for a short period of time so you can relax or get some sleep. Take turns with the other parent if you can.
